Fake Postcard

We have been learning about using canva and making fake postcards to help us decipher whats real and not, I am going to show you my card and then explain what I found easy, hard, stuff I could improve on, and things I want to now for next time. Now let's see what I made.

Fake postcard

It was easy to: Find the good pictures and insert them. 

It was hard to: do the writing.

Next time I will: try to make my writing more detailed.

Something I don't know but want to now next is: how to change the colour and length of the lines that come with the postcard before you write over them.

We have been learning about using canva and making helpful videos to help people and to make our very own projects, I am going to show you my project and then explain what I found easy, hard, stuff I could improve on, and things I want to now for next time. Now let's see what I made.

It was easy to: video what we were going to say, it was really simple.  

It was hard to: think up the ideas to tell the new room fifteen students about.

Next time I will: try keep the the same background theme throughout the video.

Something I don't know but want to now next is: how to speak louder, and more clearly in my videos.

3 things I'm proud of from 2021

We have been learning about how important it is to create our own media.

We have been learning about using canva to make videos.

To create something to share that shows what I know about using canva.

It was easy to put in the videos because all you had to do was go to videos and click record yourself before clicking record and the countdown starts for you.

It was hard to come up with what to write, when you had heaps of fun things you were proud of.

Next time I will not add as much stickers cause it was distracting from all the writing.

One thing I don't know how to do yet that I would like to do next is speck better in the video's so it is more clear.

It was easy to decorate the slide.

It was hard to add the pictures.

Next time I will not add as much stickers.

One thing I don't know how to do yet that I would like to do next is smile in my videos.

Scratch Coding

 Stems for blogging:

We have been learning about how important it is to create our own media.

We have been learning about using Scratch.

To create something to share that shows what I know about coding.

It was easy to make the sprite move.

It was hard to get idea's on what to do.

Next time I will add more helpful hints about coding.

One thing I don't know how to do yet that I would like to do next is make the sprite jump.

Factors of a quality blog post

 This week we learn't how to create a quality blog post and all the factors of one. We used mote, and added a self portrait of ourselves with a speech bubble saying what we needed for a quality post. We also added a cool background we liked behind our portrait too add colour to the scene. Anyway to make a quality blog post you must have correct spelling, punctuation and paragraphs. You have to have double checked everything, you must also use your strengths and overcome your challenges, I mean everyone has them. Too make your post perfect you must have full stops, capital letters and information about yourself and what you learn't. Just to add the icing to the cake. And that is how you make a quality blog post in my opinion. You would get top marks if you did that and I was judge. But I admit I struggled through some things and had to ask for help but there were other bits that I found easy and I even enjoyed some of it, well I enjoyed most of it.

It was hard to: Use Mote because it wasn't working for me and when I asked for help nobody knew how to fix it, but I was patient and the next day it was working for me again.

It was easy to: Add my portrait because I already had a portrait of myself from something else I'd done so all I had to was upload the image.

Next time I could improve: My sentences and punctuation in my speech bubble and probably add a bit more thought into the writing it too.

Anyway it was still fun and I learn't a fair bit and I reckon it's okay if I say so myself...
